Description
Josef Brustmann grew up in great poverty as the eighth of nine children. Displaced from his homeland, he randomly stranded in the 'promised' land Bavaria, in Waldram near Wolfratshausen, formerly Föhrenwald, formerly a Displaced Persons camp and Jewish shtetl. How quickly some can 'forget', while others never do; what is a person, what is life? There is no dress rehearsal for either.
