Description

The musical cabaret Jonáš a tingl-tangl premiered in the summer of 1962 and was created somewhat out of necessity. After the main stars of the then Semafor moved on to solo careers (Eva Pilarová, Waldemar Matuška), it was necessary to supplement the theater's repertoire with a more intimate production. Alongside Jiří Suchý, the musical composer Jiří Šlitr, who had mostly been 'hiding' behind the piano until then, took to the stage. Thus, the legendary clown duo was born, whose charm, witty dialogues, original humor, and unforgettable, now folk-like melodies will be brought to the stage of the intimate Theater '12' by Tomáš Savka and Jakub Žídek.
