A dramatization of an exceptional book nominated for the Magnesia Litera award in the category of Litera for journalism. The author also received a commemorative certificate from the city council of Karviná for an extraordinary artistic achievement. Do you know what it feels like when your husband doesn't come home one day? Authentic testimonies from women who tragically lost their husbands. Whether it was the disaster at the Dukla Mine in 1961 or the Karviná accident in 2015, in the end, there were widows and children left without fathers. Raw and simple narratives allow us to look at the historical changes in our country and the phenomenon of mining from the perspective of women. All the interviewed widows touch upon the very foundations of life, love, family, and death, and most importantly, they provide guidance on how to continue living despite adversity, how not to remain in the shadow of a tragic event. "One must go on living" suddenly doesn't sound hollow...
