Millius is, after Sina, Tschugger, and various FIFA presidents, the next desperate attempt by the canton of Valais to somehow appear likable in the rest of Switzerland. Far from all clichés, he still sounds like holidays on the Bettmeralp and ski camps in Fiesch. And of course, he knows all the people you know from Valais – probably even for family reasons. Between Valais wit and quiet melancholy, he shows that even death sounds a bit warmer in dialect.
