Description
The audience was thrilled, critics were divided, psychiatrists warned against attending - Psycho caused a sensation like hardly any other Hitchcock film when it was released in cinemas. Today, it is considered a masterpiece of the century, significantly influencing film history. The story is based on the novel of the same name by Robert Bloch, which convincingly explores the psychological and analytical story of an unremarkable but actually severely mentally ill and highly dangerous person. Norman Bates is 40 years old and lives alone with his mother, who still calls him "Junge" and has precise ideas about his life. In her opinion, he wouldn't even have the courage to run his own life. The Bates run a motel, into which hardly any guests venture anymore. But one night, Mary Crane stands at the door. She is on her way to her fiancé Sam – with $40,000, which she was supposed to take to the bank for her company. Norman serves her dinner, mother is already in bed. When Mary takes a shower afterwards, disaster strikes: mother has another of her fits... An intriguingly suspenseful evening for Hitchcock fans, literature freaks, cineasts, and all who are notorious for their love of good entertainment and a perfect reading performance! Welcome to HITCH and ME!
