Since 1987 she has lived in Germany. She worked as a journalist, ghostwriter, and co-author of several successful non-fiction books. Her debut novel Bergland was published in 2021, followed by the novel Marschlande in 2023, which was nominated for the “Favorite Book of Independent Bookstores” and was staged at the theater.
