Irish Folk Festival

Description

The 2026 Irish Folk Festival’s theme is “Gold dust in your pocket.” It celebrates Irish tradition, which, like a battery, has been recharging itself time and again for centuries. The festival is also a kaleidoscope of sounds that reflects the many facets of Irish folk music. Whether it’s soulful ballads, rousing jigs and reels, or interpretations of old melodies—the four authentic groups guarantee a varied musical journey as diverse as the shades of green in Ireland. With traditional instruments, unique voices, and a fresh Irish sound, the artists will ensure a wonderful Irish evening that will linger in your memory. The crowning highlight of the festival is the Festival Session, featuring all the groups on stage. Program:
Brian Leach | Master of the hammered dulcimer
Brian Haitz & Brendan Mulholland | A duo of many sounds
Astro Bloc | A dynamic new folk band
The Outcast Crew | The godfathers of punky folk
Festival Session | Last but not least Thanks to the annual Irish Folk Festival, hundreds of thousands of visitors have come to know and appreciate Ireland and its culture over the past decades.
