Description

On the occasion of the opening of our new venue, we present "Indien" by Alfred Dorfer and Josef Hader in the form of a scenic reading. Inszeniert as a play in 2010, we go "on the road" again with this nostalgic reading featuring Kurt Fellner and Heinz Bösel. The two gastronomy inspectors of the state government are on a business trip through the village inns. Beneath the surface of masculinity, which in the tavern becomes closer through conversations about eating, drinking, and the fair sex, small tragedies of lonely men lurk. When death sneaks in at the end of the piece and the two try to cope with this dying — overly attentive, humorous, and at the same time helplessly human — it gives the sleazy, roughly courtshiping contemporaries a fragile dignity and greatness.
