Around the World in 80 Days - Schauspiel Spectacle by Soeren Voima after Jules Verne

Description

Lady Philea Fogg makes a risky bet in her London club: to circumnavigate the world in 80 days. Together with her servant Passepartout, she embarks on a fantastic adventure, always pursued by Inspector Fix, who tries to stop them at all costs. On steamboats, trains, and elephant backs, through the thickets of metropolises and across all oceans, they race against time... In this dazzling spectacle full of poetry, Jules Verne tells of the feverish pursuit of success and, with ease, wit, and finesse, poses central questions about our modern existence. The ENSEMBLE PERSONA is a Munich-based professional ensemble of freelance theater artists, who live their conviction through outstanding language treatment and clear, unpretentious acting: to convey the richness of life wisdom in great texts in all their profound, poetic, and humorous facets to the audience in an understandable and emotionally touching way.
