His brand-new live show combines natural beauty with state-of-the-art camera technology and personal adventures into an emotional and visually stunning experience. Icebergs and volcanoes, humpback whales and reindeer herds, autumn colors and northern lights – these are the forces of nature captured in a masterpiece of aesthetics. It doesn't get any better! The story follows the rhythm of the seasons: In early summer, Stefan Forster ventures on a chartered sailing ship through the pack ice off the coast of Greenland. Whales appear between icebergs, and shortly after midnight, the first polar bear is visible through binoculars. The short, intense Arctic summer continues to Svalbard, where polar bears roam along mighty glacier fronts, walruses lie on rugged coasts, and beluga whales play in clear waters. In Iceland, Forster discovers glowing blue ice caves, black beaches, lava-spewing volcanoes, and moss-green highlands. On the Lofoten Islands in Norway, the first dancing northern lights of the year can be seen over the rugged mountains. Winter in northern Finland leads on a snowshoe tour at minus 40 degrees not only to stunning photos of deeply hanging, snow-covered tree shapes but also to a time of silence and clarity. But Stefan Forster's live show is not just about the nature experience. It is a personal story about patience, risk, closeness to Arctic wildlife, and the exhausting search for the perfect light. Because anyone who pulls a 30-kilo heavy pulka through the winter landscape for international assignments also experiences setbacks and losses.
