Urs Leuthard is one of the most renowned journalists and discussion leaders in Switzerland. Since 2002, he has been hosting the Swiss television's referendum and election broadcasts. He has moderated "Arena," "Rundschau," and many special programs at SRF. He gained leadership experience as news chief and deputy editor-in-chief of "TeleZüri" and "Tele24," as head of SRF's "Tagesschau," and as project manager of the SRF Newsroom. Since 2020, he has been leading the Federal Palace editorial team at SRF and analyzing political events. Urs Leuthard studied psychology. He lives in Zurich and is the father of two adult children. In his free time, he is a hiker, cyclist, or private pilot.
