The Order is about community, doing good, and bringing joy and hope to the world. This heartfelt documentary – shot, as it were, straight through the rainbow – gives us an insight into how it all began, who Sister Roma is, and the difficult years that followed the group’s founding in San Francisco in 1979. And then there’s an Easter tradition that, sadly, hasn’t yet made it across the ocean: the election of Hunky Jesus and Foxy Mary. Who wouldn’t want to become religious after that?
