Just two or three years ago, Hinterlandgang from Demmin in Vorpommern was hardly known outside the borders of their district. Meanwhile, their name is known from the Alps to North Frisia. Among the countless new bands that perform every day and the millions of releases on streaming platforms, Hinterlandgang managed to stand out very clearly. Their positive vibe is unmistakable. Albert and Pablo come from an area that is usually associated more with big problems than with beautiful moments. Their lyrics are about their life there. Albert and Pablo reflect on their everyday life, express hopes and worries, and manage to clearly identify problems without falling into clichéd slogans or political phrases. They tell stories of friendship and euphoria, but also of great sadness and bitter reality. The strength to maintain a positive, open-minded, and sensitive attitude towards the world and fellow humans despite all difficult moments is embodied by few as credibly as they do. This is not least due to their activities like the “100 Tage Sommer,” the “Tour de Ost,” or their engagement for people on the margins of society. Hinterlandgang quickly earned their own audience across all scenes and age groups. This may not be unique, but it is still very special. In early January, they released their album “Vielleicht wird alles gut” on Audiolith Records, landing in the top ten of the German charts. Their music gives strength and is a anchor. But live, it is also mainly fun! Pablo and Albert have warmed up at countless big and small concerts. And although or precisely because their entire stage show still fits into a small car, they give their all on stage and make every hall jump!
