In November, the Culinary Festival «Hiesigi choched Hiesigs» takes place in the Abteihof of the Einsiedeln Monastery. Local clubs cook specialties from the region around the monastery village. In the Schwyzer dialect, «Hiesigi» means «local». Products such as Ofeturli, Hafechabis, fine soups, and much more are offered in the Abteihof of the Einsiedeln Monastery. Of course, a good coffee in the Chacheli or a Rosoli cannot be missing. Dishes from local hosts at 15 stalls surprise and delight visitors.
