Description
The Museum.BL invites you to the paper workshop. 505 surplus picture books about the inventor Heinrich Bachofner are available for your own artworks: book covers, text pages, and illustrations become collages, vessels, toys, and other surprising objects. Heinrich Bachofner described various inventions such as airships, electric cars, or magnetic levitation trains in the seclusion of psychiatric hospitals for 20 years and recorded them in detailed drawings. While he had to fight for every single piece of paper over 100 years ago, there is paper in abundance in the workshop in the foyer of Museum.BL. Through creative work with the book pages, respect is paid both to the discarded book material and to the inventor.
