The Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden presents "Heidi" on Friday, February 26, 2027, at 5:00 PM in the Mehrzweckhalle Sala Grava, Savognin. Doors open at 4:30 PM. The classic 1952 film Heidi is experiencing a special rediscovery. The black-and-white feature, based on the famous story by Johanna Spyri, is still considered the most poetic and impressive adaptation of the story of the orphan girl Heidi. She lives with her grumpy grandfather, the Alpöhi, in the mountains of Graubünden and spends her days with her friend Geissenpeter. One day, she is torn from this familiar world and finds herself in Frankfurt, where she meets Klara, a girl with a disability. The Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden performs the music of the film by Robert Blum live to the picture. The live musical production has been specially reworked by Swiss composer and arranger Raban Brunner and celebrates its world premiere in 2027 – on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Johanna Spyri. Film and music merge to offer a unique and particularly nostalgic concert experience, reviving an important piece of Swiss cinema history.
