Halloween at Šternberk Castle

Šternberk Castle invites all children and parents to the autumn event Halloween at the castle. The event will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 10 AM to 4 PM. What can you look forward to? We are preparing special Halloween tours of the castle for parents and children. Our guides will tell you the story of a girl named Apolonie, who once inhabited the chambers of our castle. It is a dark story, just like the long autumn evenings. We firmly believe that children will arrive at the castle in themed costumes and help us create the right Halloween atmosphere. Special children's tours start at 10:00 / 11:00 / 12:00 / 13:00 / 14:00 / 15:00 / 16:00. The guides will be dressed in spooky costumes in the spirit of the holiday that blurs the lines between the world of the living and the dead, and the same mood will carry throughout the tour. Of course, the "classic" tours of the II. basic circuit Family Castle will also be available, starting every half hour from 10:30 to 15:30. The castle tours will be followed by a creative workshop not just for children. Pumpkins will be prepared for you to carve and take home as thematic decorations. We firmly believe that you will enjoy your day at the castle and take home not only a beautiful pumpkin but also an extraordinary experience. Admission for the tour can be purchased on-site at the castle ticket office, or tickets can be bought online at www.hrad-sternberk.cz. Admission for the "Halloween Castle Tour" (Themed tour for children) is 100 CZK - uniform admission from 3 years old. Admission for the II. basic circuit Family Castle: Full: 220 CZK, Reduced: 180 CZK, Children 6-17 years: 70 CZK. Pumpkin carving: Price per piece: 130 CZK.
