In the far reaches of the Geneva champagne region, near the natural reserve of the Vallon de la Laire, the Domaine de la Mermière welcomes you for an exceptional Halloween experience!
In this family-owned organic vineyard, the Batardon family shares their passion for vines and wine. For Halloween, discover the Domaine in two different ways: first outdoors in the vineyards, then in an astonishing fluorescent universe! Everyone in the trailer heading to the vineyards! The adventure begins aboard a real grape harvest trailer. Parents and children embark together to reach the vineyards of Soral and enjoy the surrounding landscapes.
Near a traditional shed and the Vallon de la Laire, the Batardon family will introduce you to their vineyard, organic production, and commitments. But you didn't come just to admire the scenery… First candy hunt: the adventure in the vineyards Once arrived in the vineyard, it's time for the first candy hunt! Parents and children go together in search of treats hidden among the vines. A true family Halloween moment in nature.
Then, get back on the trailer to return to the Domaine… A second adventure awaits! Second hunt: children challenge their parents in fluorescent mode! Back at the Domaine, a total change of atmosphere: black light and fluorescent colors! This time, roles are reversed…
With our animators, each child makes and decorates their own phosphorescent Halloween candy, then hides it in the fluorescent universe illuminated by black light.
Next, it's the parents' turn to play! They must keep their eyes wide open to find the phosphorescent candy hidden by their child. Now, wine tasting at the Domaine! After these two adventures, adults can discover the wines of Domaine de la Mermière during a guided tasting with the Batardon family. Traditional, exuberant, or expressive, some without added sulfur, they reflect the terroir and the family's commitments.
Children will enjoy a glass of homemade grape juice from the Domaine.
Charcuterie and cheese boards are also available as an option.
