In 1987, the Gabrielichor Bern set a special accent in the Bernese music scene with a performance of Bach's Mass in B minor in historical performance practice. Now we continue this tradition: Together with the Capriccio Baroque Orchestra Basel and selected soloists, we bring this masterpiece back to life with baroque instruments and in the spirit of its time of creation.

General Information

Bach's Mass in B minor is performed in the Roman Catholic Jesuit Church in Solothurn. The Gabrielichor Bern continues a tradition from 1987 and presents the masterpiece together with selected soloists.
