Door opening: 7:30 PM / Start: 8:00 PM Marco Gurtner and Mathias Schenk, known throughout Switzerland through their podcast «Herrgöttli Panaschiert», bring their first full-length program to the stage: Marathon. People between 30 and 40 nowadays strive for self-optimization. They bake sourdough or banana bread, collect mushrooms and watches. They learn to say «no» and to be more spontaneous. They buy houses, cars, and fitness subscriptions. They do raw food diets and have children. And when they have time, they run a marathon. And what do Gurtner and Schenk do? They observe their generation very closely and reflect their actions in a colorful mix of spoken word, comedy, and music, where of course their great improvisation talent also comes into play. The motif of the marathon stands for the lively life in this phase and ultimately also becomes a form of self-reflection for the two friends, as they are also in their thirties. «Marathon» takes you on the running track. Without having to run yourself, you are right in the middle and learn about various people from the start shot to the finish line. For example, there is Tabea, who intends to say «no» more often and during the marathon realizes she doesn't want to do it at all. There is Jean-Marc, who has fallen in love with his personal trainer and suddenly finds out that this is not a real person at all.
