Description

Gurriers come from Dublin and play (post-)punk, with a blackened streak of dangerous noise rock in their wild hair. With a sharp, probing eye on the wounded, political problem areas of the 21st century, they grind their rough, frustration-filled, and undefeated songs into the alert ear. They know how to play with their wide dynamics absolutely virtuously, from the shimmering dissolving into thoughts to the fiery bite. Supporting them are Enola Gay from Belfast. The quartet combines angry noise punk with electronic accents, driving rhythms, and uncompromising energy. Their songs are loud, direct, and politically charged.
