Description
Gümpelimittwoch is the official start to the carnival week in the town of Wil. People, big and small and mostly dressed up, gather on the courtyard square. Everyone eagerly awaits the procession of over 200 Wiler Tüüfel from the courtyard gate of the Hof zu Wil and the reading of the bulls by the herald to officially open the Wiler Fastnacht.
