• Terms and legal basics on the topic "Violation of personal integrity"
• Duties as a leader
• Assessment of the severity of boundary violations with the Bündner standard
• Awareness of risk situations for boundary violations in the church work field
• Internal and external contact points for supporting affected persons and for leaders with intervention duties
• Procedure for reporting a boundary violation or a complaint
• Presentation of work tools and documents
• Working with case studies

OBJECTIVES

• Participants are familiar with the terms and legal basics related to the protection of personal integrity.
• They know the internal and external contact points and their offerings.
• They are familiar with the available documents and work tools and can use them if needed.
• Participants are able to plan and implement preventive measures in their work field and can act appropriately in cases of boundary violations and/or seek targeted support.
• Participants are more confident in dealing with the topic "boundary violations"

PARTICIPANTS / TARGET GROUP
The basic training is generally aimed at all persons who work as employees, volunteers, or helpers in church communities, church regions, or the national church. For pastors, religious education teachers, social deacons, and youth workers, attending basic training in the first year of service is mandatory. For members of church council boards, persons in church professions who have been working for the church for a longer time, and volunteers working with children, youth, or other sensitive and particularly vulnerable persons, attending the basic training is recommended.
COSTS
Attendance at the basic training (including lunch) is free of charge for all persons in the target group.
