Description
On Fastnacht Saturday, it's always that time! In the old town of Wil, it becomes incredibly loud as the various Guggen from Wil, the surrounding area, and guest Guggen from further away perform in the old town for Narrenwyl. The streets are brought to life with a dizzying mix of beats, rhythms, and well-known melodies. Starting at 19:11, various Guggengruppen perform at Hofplatz, Kirchplatz, and Lindenplatz. Afterwards, all Guggen, usually about 10 groups, gather for the spectacular Monster Concert! The old town becomes a bubbling cauldron, and goosebumps are guaranteed when over 200 musicians perform the Guggenmarsch and other well-known pieces.
