Description

The 57th edition of the Grand Prix Brno in swimming in 2026 will continue the rich tradition of these races. This edition will again take place in the split 50-meter pool in Brno Za Lužánkami, utilizing the spectator stands. The event will be in a three-day format with morning heats and an afternoon final block. This international event is one of the significant swimming competitions held in the Czech Republic and Central Europe. The Grand Prix Brno is part of the Czech Cup ARENA CUP 2026 (5th round) and is listed in the European, World, and Czech calendars. For both Czech and foreign swimmers, the Grand Prix Brno is an official qualifying event for the December World Championship in short course in China. The Grand Prix Brno regularly attracts the top swimmers from the Czech Republic, including Olympians and medalists from major events. Last year, 600 swimmers from 10 countries participated, including national teams from SVK, CZE, GRE, and others.
