Support Group for Caregivers of People with Dementia

Description

Sharing stories, listening, supporting each other. Many caregivers are very reserved when it comes to addressing the changed, stressful life situation in their environment. Being able to share experiences during the meetings is relieving and encourages the implementation of new solutions. The support groups take place in an atmosphere of solidarity, mutual respect, and discretion. Each member decides for themselves how much of their situation they want to disclose.

Target group: Caregivers/relatives of people with dementia

Cost per meeting: Participation in the support groups is free of charge.

General Information

The support groups take place in Arbon at Alzheimer Thurgau and offer caregivers the opportunity to exchange in a confidential atmosphere. The meetings are free, registration is required. Support for relatives and care for people with dementia are also offered.
