An evening of pure musical magic awaits you with the Last Station Big Band, which will take you on a sonic journey through the immortal compositions of George Gershwin, a genius who fused jazz, classical music, and the American spirit into timeless melodies. The power and sophistication of the big band are complemented by the elegant and intense voice of Celeste Castelnuovo, a performer capable of breathing new life into classics such as "Summertime," "I Got Rhythm," and "The Man I Love." The orchestra, conducted by Maestro Gilberto Tarocco, also features the talented trombonist Didier Yon. The program will not be limited to famous songs but will also explore the symphonic dimension of Gershwin, with original arrangements from his opera "Porgy and Bess." Admission to the concert is free, but donations are welcome.
