Description
GEROLD SPÄTH
Writing and Designing in Interaction The Rapperswil writer Gerold Späth began over 40 years ago to write his own texts with a bamboo pen and Chinese ink on exclusive paper. The resulting collections of sheets were handed over in nine numbered copies each to a friendly artist for design. To this day, 68 artist books have been created in collaboration with 38 artists. Gerold Späth donated one original copy each to the Vadiana Cantonal Library St. Gallen, which presented them in 2025 on the occasion of an exhibition in the original and with high-quality copies.
The *ALTEFABRIK takes over the exhibition in a slightly expanded form. Participating artists included, among others: Klaus Born - Stefan Vollenweider - Gertrud von Mentlen - Ursula UNA Hirsch In cooperation with Vadiana Cantonal Library and Gerold Späth.
