In an old, dusty theater, a technician, a costume designer, and a director encounter a poltergeist who is unhappily making noise and disrupting the operation. Together with the audience, they make contact with the grumpy spirit. What does it lack – and what is needed for peace to return to the theater? With object theater, puppet play, live music, as well as light and shadow effects, a sensual and humorous stage world unfolds between spookiness and security. "Geisterstunde" invites the audience on a poetic, humorous, and slightly spooky discovery journey. The piece tells how courage arises when one faces the unknown with curiosity – and that fear is often just an expression of imagination.
