Guided Hike "Surava - Crap Furo"

Date: Thursday, October 14, 2026 Where: Surava – Crap Furò Meeting point: Savognin Post 8:45 AM Attraction: We visit the geographical center of Graubünden and the Crap Furò – a spectacular natural phenomenon. Route: We take the post bus to Surava, from where we start our hike. On a circular route, we walk through the natural forest reserve, steadily ascending to the spectacular rock needle, the Crap Furò. The geographical center of Graubünden lies only about 213 meters southwest. Along the way, we learn a lot about local flora, fauna, and geology. We enjoy our picnic, deepen our knowledge, and then walk back down to Surava. We take the post bus back to Savognin, arriving at 16:04. Requirement: medium T2 10.7 km 430m up 430 down leisurely 4.5 hrs. Surefootedness for hiking trails white red white Bring: hiking equipment, hiking boots, rain protection, sun protection, enough to drink, picnic, guest card for free post bus ride, personal medication and possibly binoculars and hiking poles.
