Date: Thursday, October 21, 2026 Where: Bargnung – Cre digl Lai – Salaschins Meeting point: Savognin valley station 9 a.m. Attraction: Golden larches, Seeli, Salaschins chapel and impressive earth pyramid, these are just some impressions of this beautiful day hike. Route: We take the gondola to Somtgant, from where we start our hike. We enjoy the autumn colors and look at which plants we recognize on the way. Then we dive into the forest, the golden larches and walk at the foot of Piz Toissa to Salaschins. On the way we enjoy our picnic, with a view of Piz Mitgel and the surrounding peaks. After a stop at the chapel with a view of the valley, the path leads us again through the forest to the earth pyramid. Now it goes on to Parsonz where we can refresh ourselves. At 5:09 p.m. the post bus takes us back to Savognin where we arrive at 5:21 p.m. Requirement: medium T3 11.4 km 380m up 1,170 down leisurely 5 hrs. Surefootedness for hiking trails white red white Bring: hiking equipment, hiking shoes, rain protection, sun protection, enough to drink, picnic, guest card for free mountain railway and post bus ride, personal medication and possibly binoculars and hiking poles.
