Description
The watercolors of Michèle Fiora Michèle Fiora was born in 1952 in Aime in Savoy and has been living in Salvan since 1973. Since her childhood, she has been passionate about painting and initially focused on gouache, before turning to porcelain painting and then oil painting. Over the years, she has exhibited her works in several exhibitions, especially in Salvan and Martigny. After attending lessons with Pierre-Alain Corthay for three years, she now dedicates herself to watercolor painting. Her work is mainly inspired by elements of nature, especially water and the sky. The play of light and the intensity of colors play a central role in her compositions. The works of Isabelle Corthay – Isart Born in 1967, Swiss painter and sculptor Isabelle Corthay invites you on an inner journey where the visible engages in dialogue with the invisible. Her artistic approach explores the relationship between matter, light, and emotion. The thoroughly worked material bears the traces of time, while the light opens a space of hope. Since 2015, she has been developing sculptural works in bronze using the lost-wax technique. Her works question what it means to be human, the shackles, and the pursuit of freedom in a sensitive tension between strength and delicacy. “The light transforms... the matter remembers...” These two exhibitions offer an encounter between watercolors and sculptures, united by a shared sensitivity to light, natural elements, and the emotions they evoke.
