A guided tour in cooperation with Reformierte Kirche Zürich – Kirchenkreis eins Altstadt commissioned by the Baudirektion Kanton Zürich The Grossmünster was built between 1100 and 1220. To preserve the valuable medieval substance of Zurich's landmark in the long term, it will undergo extensive restoration both outside and inside in the coming years. We will go on an exploration tour together and learn how experts work using modern and traditional techniques. With a bit of weather luck, we will even climb onto the scaffolding and watch the stonemasons over their shoulders. Requirements: surefootedness, sturdy footwear, fear of heights Participation at your own risk (from 14 years old) and only with a signed consent form. These can also be filled out on site in advance, forms are available.
