Description
Following the success of its concerts at the Salle Gaveau in Paris, Clash is coming to Bern for the very first time. From Maria Callas to Freddie Mercury, from Bellini to ABBA, from “Casta Diva” to “The Winner Takes It All”: this Clash Diva explores a single realm—that of iconic voices, unforgettable timbres, and emotions pushed to the extreme. For opera and great pop music speak the same language—that of drama, passion, excess, and raw vulnerability. Whether with Bellini or Queen, Verdi or ABBA or Michael Jackson, singing means giving it your all: turning your voice into a stage, your breath into tension, and every word into raw truth. These are tunes we know by heart, melodies that move us to the core, voices we recognize from the very first note. Here, Bizet meets Dalida, Puccini reunites with Barbra Streisand, Verdi reaches out to Whitney Houston, while Madonna, Kate Bush, Björk, and Amy Winehouse each carry on, in their own way, the brilliance of the great opera stars. The encounter between Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé remains the perfect embodiment of this: a world where opera and pop converge in virtuosity, theatricality, and pure emotion. Théophile Alexandre: countertenor
Manon Galy: violin
Yohan Hennequin: drums (Cats on Trees)
