Description

With much heart and a bit of pride, we invite you to the 10th Klangwelle – and in the middle of this season, we simultaneously celebrate "20 Years of the Stradivari Quartet." Together, we want to look back with gratitude and at the same time begin a new musical love story: our Klangwelle on Lake Zurich "France." At the center, as always, is the string quartet. Among its most important repertoire are definitely Debussy and Ravel – with their sounds, harmonies, elegance, and finesse, they have shaped French music like hardly anyone else. Around these two protagonists, we will discover together another 12 composers whose chamber music will lead us through a colorful palette of string, piano, and wonderful wind sounds – thus enchanting us with the rich facets and the spirit of France. Newly, we open another very personal window into this sound world with a "Podcast" series: In conversations with musicians, experts, and friends of the Stradivari family, we want to share stories, backgrounds, and favorite moments – to listen to at home or on the go. Of course, our proven formats remain: the "Lighthouse" as a deepening cultural mediation event, the "Préludes" for tuning in, as well as "Apéros" and "StradivariTISCHE" for direct exchange after the concerts. The sound journey to Paris also makes our hearts beat faster well in advance. FRANCE 2
