Two ornithologists—one a curator, the other a psychiatrist—guide us through nature’s buffet in a witty dialogue: Who eats whom? And how, and why? Some run for their lives; others, to satisfy a little hunger. Who wins the race? The stronger ones? The smarter ones? The faster ones? The meaner ones?
And what goes in the front has to come out the back. What happens in between? On the burdens and pleasures of eating and being eaten—nature provides the answers...
The accompanying apéro riche explores the theme in a culinary way—with humor and a touch of provocation. Our lecture series examines the cultural and historical contexts surrounding food.
Of course, the culinary aspect is a must: we’ll round out the evening with a themed “apéro riche” and invite you to enjoy the food and continue the discussion. All this at a fair price
