Who was ANNA? Annina Keller tells the extraordinary life story of her great-great-grandmother Anna. The collection of recipes handed down by this special woman inspires us for the themed aperitif.
Born in 1869, Anna grew up as a farmer's daughter in the heart of the Emmental and became a young woman. At the age of 25, fate made her the mother of eight children, wife of the innkeeper and hostess of the "Krone" restaurant. Thirty years later, love took this courageous woman from Zäziwil to the Philippines and back again: the story of a woman who made the best of what was and the most beautiful of what was to come.
Annina Keller traces the life of her great-great-grandmother over 150 years later. The biographical material gives an idea of how things were cooked and managed back then. Of course, culinary delights are not to be missed: we round off the evening with a themed aperitif riche and invite you to enjoy and continue the discussion.
