Flury and The Nuborns – CONCERT SERIES, No. 5

Description

The concert series Flury and The Nuborns is entering its final round. The Nuborns are a music and research group. The emergence and development of jazz and pop music are part of their research area. Although the necessary technology has been available since the Edison phonograph from 1880, the early phase of popular music remains completely undocumented and forever a mystery. The Nuborns dive into this nebulous space of cultural fusion, oral culture, and written culture, searching in composition, interplay, and improvisation for their own version of early pop music. *** In this edition, the fixed Nuborns ensemble will also meet inspiring guests who open new facets and spaces. This makes each performance unique. The guests will be announced shortly *** Join Michael Flury on his mission to bring music history into our present – with Flury and the Nuborns, a concert series that researches the past and writes the future.
