Description
Romancero Queer / Virginie Despentes, 19.11.2026 at 20:30, Théâtre Forum, Meyrin Romancero Queer takes us behind the scenes of a theater where a troupe is rehearsing. Under the invisible direction of a director aiming to "queerize" La Maison de Bernarda Alba by Federico García Lorca, tensions build and tongues loosen. Between confessions, disputes, bursts of laughter, and standpoints, the performers reveal their vulnerabilities. The text, both raw, tender, and political, explores queer identities, social struggles, and the need to reinvent ourselves together. Virginie Despentes signs here a character comedy, an electric tribune where theater looks at itself in the mirror to denounce its own abuses of power. From former detainees to cabaret stars, from political rage to wounded love, each voice carries the breath of an era that refuses to be silent. A vibrant ode to collectivity. Camille, 21.11.2026 at 20:00, Salle de l'Alhambra, Geneva Nine years after Ouï, Camille returns with The Sound of Milk (2026), an original album in its creation process and triptych form, consisting of Naissance (2015), Enfance (2020), and Adolescence (2025). In a dark and turbulent time socially, politically, and ecologically, Camille chooses to speak of powerful and vulnerable joy at the same time. Tender, lucid, and committed, this album confronts us with humanity's issues and challenges. It also soothes us to awaken love and reignite the stars where they have gone out. Co-produced with Inouïe, Les Créatives are pleased to host it for its only date in Switzerland at the Alhambra. Special concert This is the Kit (UK) + Cori Nora (CH), 20.11.2026 at 20:00, Salle Grand Salève, Veyrier Behind This Is The Kit (UK), is Kate Stables, a key figure in the contemporary British indie folk scene. For over twenty years, the singer-songwriter has built a unique body of work blending folk, organic textures, and poetry. From Winchester to Paris, where she lived for fifteen years, Kate Stables has established herself as one of the most respected voices in current alternative music. She has collaborated with producer John Parish (PJ Harvey) and Gruff Rhys, and received a nomination for the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards. With albums praised by critics and admired by The National, Sharon Van Etten, and Bon Iver, This Is The Kit develops an immediately recognizable universe: banjo, guitar, hypnotic rhythms, and delicate songs. On stage, This Is The Kit deploys a presence both warm and magnetic. A new album is scheduled for early 2027. Cori Nora (CH) creates music against the immutable, with her voice as the guiding thread. She weaves observations of our world into sounds—awakened, in perpetual flux—a captivating momentum between calm and tension. Her second album, “Pleasure And Focus,” recorded live with her band in Porto, is a committed, no-compromise approach to the present moment: seven tracks, one place, a shared focus. Raw, immediate, without detours—a music that does not stay still. Supported by the Veyrier Municipality. First Aid Kit, 29.11.2026 at 20:00, Salle de l'Alhambra, Geneva Behind First Aid Kit are Swedish sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg, who have become major figures in the international folk scene over fifteen years. Discovered at a young age for their striking harmonies and ability to blend folk, melancholic pop, and mature songwriting, they have gained a loyal audience worldwide. Through acclaimed albums (from The Big Black and The Blue to Stay Gold, driven by the success of “My Silver Lining,” to Palomino), the duo has established itself through elegant compositions and expansive melodies, collaborating with artists like Conor Oberst, George Ezra, Jenny Lewis, and Zara Larsson. With “Visions of the Past,” they offer an intimate and streamlined tour, conceived as a return to roots. On this occasion, the duo will revisit songs that marked their journey: from the early impulses of Drunken Trees to the luminous maturity of Palomino, including their iconic tracks and some covers that have become cult. Only date in Switzerland. Danitsa + Mercee After four years of absence, 2026 marks the highly anticipated return of Danitsa (CH), a Geneva-based singer known for her fluid blend of hip-hop, soul, and reggae. Signed to the renowned Big Dada label, she opens a new artistic chapter marked by mastery, confidence, and creative independence. Her first single, Miss Yo, introduces this new era: a warm and assertive track blending soul, reggae, and R&B, announcing a broader upcoming project. With solid stage experience and an expanding international audience, Danitsa is preparing an album focused on themes of family, sisterhood, love, and self-reappropriation. She will open the 22nd edition of the festival. MERCEE (CH) is a Zurich-based singer with Cuban and Italian roots. She grew up listening to Celia Cruz at home and Aaliyah, Amy Winehouse, and Young Thug in her headphones, and now finds herself where the young European scene invents a new sound. In 2020, SRF 3 named her Best Talent. Shortly after, her music started playing on radio stations in Switzerland, Germany, and the UK. After the EP Venganza and numerous festival performances, she has composedHighlights
