Since 2020, our traditional 'Little New Year's Concert' has taken place on the afternoon of January 1st at the Schweizerhof Flims Waldhaus. Unlike the grand event in Vienna, we play softer tones and showcase small but exquisite gems of art, music, and dance. Today, it is built around a special idea – in the style of the Flims Festival: We tell the story of the Austrian Emperor Joseph II. After losing his first wife, his beloved Isabella, and the death of his disliked second wife, he invites various people to distract him through performances, music, stories, or good ideas – to help him smile again. The duo M & M, our two music acrobatics specialists Max and Mathias, also face this challenge. Sportingly engaged, musically humorous, and yet sensitive, they prepare for their audience with the Emperor and present a poetic and entertaining fireworks display of music and acrobatics. But will they also be able to convince the Emperor? An enjoyable start to the new year with many good subordinate, main, and relative clauses!
