An Empty House—Full of Culture For over 25 years, Das Gelbe Haus Flims has been hosting exhibitions on topics related to design, architecture, and cultural history. Now, the building itself is once again taking center stage: its rooms, its history, its architecture. Das Gelbe Haus Flims is white, open, sometimes unsettling—and full of possibilities. Even when it appears empty, it is full of culture: as a space for encounters, a space for reflection, and a platform for new perspectives. Through exhibitions, guided tours, readings, discussions, and other formats, we bring people, ideas, and themes together. A new audio guide accompanies visitors through Das Gelbe Haus Flims, allowing them to experience the spaces in diverse and perhaps even surprising ways. Various events and “formats” invite visitors to view the familiar from a new perspective. The building’s distinctive architecture is more than just a setting. It is part of our ethos: open, inquisitive, and committed to dialogue—entirely in the spirit of Rudolf Olgiati, who, through his initiative, created a place where space, people, and ideas come together in a special way.
