Description

Hidden in the attic of the Singisen wing, the art collection of Murikultur is stored. Five contemporary artists were invited to engage with selected collection works and develop new pieces from them. The exhibition centers on questions about the nature and potential of a collection: How does it arise? What stories does it preserve? And how can it serve as a starting point for new artistic perspectives? The exhibition makes selected collection works accessible and brings them into dialogue with contemporary positions. As an echo chamber between past and present, new resonances, unusual viewpoints, and unexpected connections arise. An exhibition with works by:
