Description

Participants will learn the basics of field recording and sound editing over a weekend course at Klanghaus Toggenburg. The first day focuses on capturing sounds using different microphones and recording devices, including underwater and contact microphones, revealing new soundscapes. The second day is dedicated to editing and developing soundscape compositions on a laptop, with guidance on using free software like Audacity. The course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience in sound recording and editing.
