Description
An evening marked by humor and family relationships: on one side, a family boulevard theatre close to settling scores; on the other, a tragicomic romantic comedy.
Mother's Day
A former Maths Sup student turned stand-up comedian, Louise has cut all contact with her mother for 3 years after a particularly sharp sketch about her. Lacking inspiration, Louise reappears to attend the big family event: Mother's Day. It's an opportunity for her to reunite with her brothers Gabriel and Ziggy, accompanied by the enigmatic Arthur and the whimsical Florence, who is heavily into drinking. But the unexplained absence of the mother gradually creates discomfort, until this unique day turns into a cruel and liberating game of massacre. A play inspired by the comedies of Agnès Jaoui and Jean-Pierre Bacri.
Long live the bride
Five years later, three days before the wedding, Louise is about to marry the wrong person – everyone knows it except her. The mother has disappeared for obscure reasons, Florence no longer drinks, Gabriel is divorced, Arthur is in love, and Ziggy returns from Japan with Anne-Lise. A race against time begins. Everyone is working meticulously to ensure that the big day... does not happen. Beneath its romantic comedy facade, Long live the bride is a broken fairy tale, marking a dramatic entry into adultery. Out of respect for the artists and other spectators, we reserve the right to refuse entry to latecomers, without refund or exchange.
