FemXmas - the feminist Christmas story

What if the biblical Christmas story were told fresh, lively, and feminist? That's exactly what happens at femXmas 2025. Young people and adults are invited to experience the well-known stories from the Bible anew – beyond traditional role models, rooted in the text and yet right in the middle of today. It is told in various dialects, accompanied by double bass and a big portion of heart.

Four narrators from BibelErz bring Christmas stories to the stage as you know them, but never heard like this before: poetically, powerfully, freely told from a feminist perspective, historically grounded and surprisingly topical. femXmas is an ecumenical project of the Christian women's umbrella organizations femmes protestantes and Frauenbund Schweiz as well as the BibelErz association.

General Information

FemXmas 2025 is a special reading at the Goldener Dachs in Weinfelden. Four narrators present the Christmas story anew, feminist and lively, accompanied by double bass and in various dialects. The ecumenical project is aimed at young people and adults.
