Description
From Berlin to Bristol, from Aalborg to Copenhagen – Farveblind has established itself in recent years as one of the most outstanding live acts in the Danish music scene. Their infectious energy has thrilled audiences on stages across Europe and Asia, including renowned events such as the Roskilde Festival, Stereoleto, Eurosonic, and the Reeperbahn Festival. Since 2019, the trio has released three EPs ('BOXES', 'Mayhem', and 'All Clubs Are Bastards'), earning nominations for awards and much praise from fans and critics alike. Their music features a harder, electronic sound that combines elements of Acid Techno, Breakbeat, and Punk – stylistically somewhere between Justice, Underworld, Ho99o9, Death Grips, and HEALTH. Their self-produced debut album 'Micro Pleasures' was released in May 2026; it was mixed by Gustav Brunn (Viagra Boys, Yung Lean) and features exciting guest contributions from k. flay, Django Django, Emmeline, Elliphant, Foreign Air, USERS, and other artists. The album's release began in September with the single 'Salary Man' – a song based on a driving 303 bassline and characterized by the aggressive vocals of Sean Michael Seldorf Flaherty (from the Danish punk band USERS); the track addresses the oppressive monotony of modern office work. In November, the release of 'Battle Lady-Like' (feat. Foreign Air) followed, a song the band describes as a sonic collision between Led Zeppelin and MF DOOM. Thanks to their distinctive musical identity, Farveblind has been able to place their songs in various Netflix and Amazon original productions and undertake commissioned work for companies like Netflix and IKEA; additionally, the speaker brand AiAiAi dedicated a short documentary to them. Their upcoming single 'Micro Pleasures' will be featured in the new Jason Statham film 'Shelter', which premiered in January 2026.
