Description
The NanoCubes show detailed electron microscopic images of different materials and samples. Each of the five placed NanoCubes deals with its own isolated topic: wood, metal, surface, color, forensics. They provide insights into age, authenticity, use, and composition. The most fun is to pick up the brochure with the puzzle trail for all five stations at the reception and thus dive a little deeper into the different areas. If everything is answered correctly at the end, there is a small surprise on site! «NanoCube» is a joint project of the Museum Burghalde in Lenzburg with the Swiss Nanoscience Institute of the University of Basel. The two institutions have been working together for several years to also create access to scientific phenomena in the museum. The glass studio workshop is open from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Since making the glass objects takes at least 1 hour, we ask you to arrive early enough.
