Description

The exhibition 'Faltungen' features water, stone, and smoke drawings, oil paintings, photographs, and sketches from different phases of Rohner's work. Inspired by geology, climate, and landscape, his practice emphasizes overlapping, referencing, and densification rather than linear development. The artist's engagement with the landscape around Lake Walen is evident in over two thousand photographs taken from water, culminating in an immersive installation. A specially created wall piece offers insight into his long-term 'climate archive,' connecting various work groups.
