Description

This dance performance showcases how sound energy is transformed into physical expression. Choreographed by Lida Doumouliaka, inspired by Igor Strawinsky's 'Sacre du Printemps', and Jae-Duk Kim, influenced by Korean musical and dance traditions, the production features eight dancers bringing to life rhythmic melodies and energetic beats. Kim, a renowned artist in the Asian dance scene, develops his works based solely on self-composed sounds and rhythms, creating a captivating experience for the audience. The event marks Kim's residency with Tanz Luzern, promising an evening of innovative dance inspired by vibrant musical energy.
