Heir to the wedding bands of northern Niger, the group plays sunny and festive music, driven by hypnotic guitars, intoxicating solos, and irresistible rhythms. Their repertoire draws from the blues of northern Mali, Hausa orchestras, and Congolese soukous, while aligning with the Touareg blues popularized by Tinariwen, Tamikrest, and Mdou Moctar.
